Can't get key out of ignition camaro. I suggest to wiggle the steering wheel a bit and see if the key gets released out. Give the wheel a wiggle while lightly trying to turn the key out of the ignition. A s Jonesy mentioned you have probably turned the lower hub on the column into the reverse position which prevents the lock cylinder from cancelling.

I have my car key locked in the ignition with the gear stick in Park. I tried all that I knew to do but no help. This is our recommended order to do them in.

Make Sure You Have Voltage. If the steering lock is causing a bind this will relieve the pressure and get the key out. 3 times now.

Feb 24 2001 Location. I used the Camaro solutiontook out 3 screws 1 under the wheel and 2 on either side of the wheel when you turn it to 6 oclock and took the bottom panel off to expose under where the key goes. Behind this is the metal plunger.

If that is not helping then first turn steering wheel to right and try removing the key or next turn steering wheel to left and see if you can remove the key. Clean the key if that dont work you may have an open short or broken wire in the orange jacket of the ignition key switch.
