Camaro X Codes
Being a copo owner myself.
Camaro x codes. I have everything for the car except gas tank xhaust and new weather stripping. The X11 code is the only exception to identifying a true 69 SS Camaro because the code also means a plain Camaro. The Xnn codes were a mid-1969 model addition to the Fisher body cowl tags of Norwood-built Camaros starting with the 12B second week of December build week.
CRG has found 12B cars both with and without these codes. X22 and X66 were 396 and they had a black rear panel. 53 - Glacier Blue.
COPO Camaros were the exception as most COPO Camaros were built using. X33 and X77 were Z28 and required stripes. Transmission is a th400 and looks to be the original.
E - Parchment vinyl top. 4 Oct 1 2007. I believe all those crayon marks just used 1 number since both numbers on the x-codes were always the same.
123379N500001 Third digit is engine code. X11 non-SS396 non-Z28 with style trim. It is a trim code used by fisher body.
Check out CRGs web site for more info. It was a designation on how the body should be painted or what trim it should have. The vin is 124679N658xxx.
